Compete with confidence. Grow with purpose.

Our Show Team brings together riders of all ages and experience levels who share a commitment to learning, sportsmanship, and continuous improvement. Whether attending a first schooling show or working toward regional competitions, we believe the show ring is an opportunity to build confidence, develop horsemanship, and celebrate progress together.

What Is the Show Team?

Individual competition with barn support.

The Rising Talent Show Team is for riders who want to compete regularly at local and regional horse shows on horses they train with at home.

Our show team includes riders of all ages and experience levels, from those entering their first schooling show to riders competing at rated competitions. What unites them is a shared commitment to improvement, sportsmanship, and the thrill of competition.

We celebrate effort as much as results, knowing that every round, whether successful or challenging, is an opportunity to learn, grow, and become better horsemen and horsewomen.

As part of the show team, riders receive dedicated coaching at the barn and show-ring support at competitions. We handle the logistics so riders can focus on performing their best.

How It Works

Train together. Grow together. Compete together.

Rising Talent show team riders at a competition

Show team members train regularly in lessons at Rising Talent, building partnerships with horses they ride consistently, whether owned, leased, or part of our lesson horse program. Riders progress at their own pace, with individualized goals shaped by their experience, ambitions, and stage of development.

When show season arrives, we travel together as a barn to competitions throughout the region. Riders receive coaching, warm-up support, and encouragement from trainers and teammates at every show. Every competition is one chapter in a long-term development journey, not a finish line.

We participate in a range of competitions, from local schooling shows to regional A-rated events. Wherever a rider is on that path, the focus stays the same: consistent growth, strong horsemanship, and confidence built one outing at a time.

More Than Winning

Success measured by much more than ribbons.

Horse shows teach riders how to prepare, persevere, adapt, and perform under pressure. They build confidence, responsibility, resilience, and sportsmanship while strengthening the partnership between horse and rider.

Just as importantly, they teach riders to support one another, celebrate each other's accomplishments, and approach competition with humility and respect.

Our goal is not simply to develop successful competitors, but confident horsemen and horsewomen whose lessons extend far beyond the arena.

Competition Opportunities

From local to regional.

Our riders compete at a variety of levels, from local schooling shows to regional A-rated competitions such as HITS Saugerties.

Whether you're learning to jump crossrails or competing at the highest levels of the sport, our focus remains the same. We value effort, horsemanship, kindness, friendship, and a commitment to continual improvement. Our goal is to help every rider progress at a pace that matches their ambitions while enjoying the journey along the way.

Why We Show

Goals, growth, and the bond between horse and rider.

Competing gives riders something to work toward, teaches resilience under pressure, and celebrates the partnership between horse and rider. Whether your goal is a blue ribbon or simply a smoother round than last time, we believe the show ring is where lessons learned at home come to life.
