Rising Talent grew out of years spent at barns, in lessons, and at horse shows, and a clear sense of the kind of place we wished existed.
Inspired by our family.
Rising Talent Equestrian was born from our family's love of horses and the incredible journey we've shared through our daughters' riding experiences. The name Rising Talent is a tribute to our families first show horse, Talent du Coin. While Talent's show days are behind him, his impact on our family is everlasting. He introduced us to a world that is about so much more than riding—it is about dedication, partnership, resilience, and the joy of growing alongside others.
The word "Rising" reflects what we hope every rider, horse, and family experiences here: the opportunity to build confidence, develop skills, and reach their fullest potential. Rising Talent Equestrian was intentionally created as more than a riding facility. It is a place where horses are exceptionally cared for, riders are thoughtfully taught, and kindness and respect are part of the culture every day.
At the heart of everything we do are three guiding principles: riding, community, and growth—because we believe the most meaningful experiences happen when people come together to learn, support one another, and rise together.

The Milleisen Family
Rising Talent Equestrian is owned by the Milleisen family. Our daughter Giuliana rides and competes, so we know first-hand what it feels like to be the family in the schooling ring, at the in-gate, and back at the trailer after a long day.
When you join our barn, you are not signing on with a distant operator. You are joining a family who is walking a mile in your shoes, cheering for your rider, and invested in the same journey you are.
Nicole Mancuso
Head Trainer
Nicole Mancuso serves as Rising Talent Equestrian's Head Trainer. With more than 15 years of training and coaching experience, Nicole is passionate about developing riders in a positive, supportive environment that prioritizes horsemanship, confidence, and personal growth.
Throughout her career, Nicole's riders and teams have successfully competed at some of the most respected competitions in the country, including HITS Saugerties, Princeton Show Jumping, Old Salem Farm, and the Winter Equestrian Festival in Wellington, Florida.
Nicole shares Rising Talent Equestrian's belief that while competitive success is rewarding, character, sportsmanship, and a love of horses are what matter most.
The most meaningful success in this sport isn't measured in placings or rankings. It's measured in relationships, character, and growth.
