Do you have lesson horses?
We do not currently have a dedicated lesson-horse program. Boarders can take lessons on horses they own or lease. In limited circumstances, a boarder may allow their horse to be used for lessons, so contact us about availability.
Do you have trainers available?
Yes — if you're seeking professional instruction, we can connect you with a trainer.
Can my trainer train at your facility?
Outside trainers are welcome to train at our facility with advance permission (ring fees apply).
Every barn says they've got great care. How do I know you actually do?
To ensure that horses and the facility are well cared for, we employ two full-time grooms. Ownership is also on site daily, and is in constant contact with grooms and clients to quickly resolve issues.
We believe the greatest testament to our operation is that most boarders have been customers for years.
How much turnout will my horse get?
If your horse is in an in-and-out, they can have turnout 24 hours a day. Horses with dedicated stalls generally get about 7 hours of turnout per day. Overnight turnout is available as well.
Where are you located?
Our address is 44 Yaphank Avenue, Yaphank, New York 11980. We're conveniently located about a mile from exit 67 of the Long Island Expressway, and less than a mile from exit 57 of Sunrise Highway.
Do you have an indoor facility?
Yes, our indoor facility features GGT footing and is 70' × 140'.
I've heard the fabric cover on that type of indoor flaps and spooks the horses. Does yours do that?
Our customers shared that concern, we heard them, and made it a priority. We recently had the fabric professionally re-tensioned, which made a significant difference.
How much is board?
Board is $1,500 per month and includes daily stall cleaning, hay, grain, turnout, routine blanketing and fly masks, and administration of medications and supplements.
